Walsh Waste Community Involvement Carrabane Community Development Association held a phenomenally successful new school building fundraiser. The metal recycling initiative took place on April 9th last at the Carrabawn community centre.
Walsh Waste was delighted to support the initiative by providing the skips at the drop off centre and transporting them to a metal recycling facility.
Large scale items such as household appliances, petroleum barrels and farm equipment totalling over 30 tonnes was transferred into 20 yard skips yielding a return of €6,500 for the school development fund. Well done!
