Where can I recycle my batteries?
You can bring your waste batteries to the Galway County Council Civic Amenity Sites in Tuam, Clifden, and Ballinasloe for free recycling. You can also return waste batteries to retailers that sell them, or instead use WEE Ireland’s collection system.
The growing risks of vapes and batteries have huge dangers. Vapes & E-Cigarettes contain lithium-ion batteries that can overheat, rupture, or catch fire. Lithium-ion batteries can short-circuit if punctured, crushed, or exposed water. Extra caution when recycling your batteries at home.
If you have items to dispose of and are unsure if we can take them just give our customer service centre a call.
Planning to use your skip for Rubble Only?
We have special “Builders Skips” for rubble only jobs. Please contact our office to book a Builders Skip.
Overloading a general skip with heavy rubble can lead to weight limits being exceeded, resulting in additional charges or collection issues.
By choosing a Builders Skip, you’re ensuring a safer, more efficient service tailored to heavy waste.
